The Ministry of Foreign Trade renews the temporary suspension of some mass market products to reduce the addiction on imports, to protect the local industries, to fight frauds at national borders.

Beers and carbonated beverages: Whatever the origine, the temporary suspension is renewed for a period of 12 months from June 26th 2024 throughout the national territory, by ministerial decree n°011/CAB/MIN.COMEXT/24.

Grey cement and clinkers: Whatever the origine, the temporary suspension is renewed for a period of 12 months from July 5th 2024 in the West and South-East of the national tertitory, by ministerial decree n°011/CAB/MIN.COMEXT/24

Prohibited products imported into DRC without prior authorization will be destroyed or re-exported.
